It was refreshing for our CEO and Sales Director to meet with the Business Minister for SME, Paul Scully alongwith the North Devon MP, Selaine Saxby. Aramis Rugby was invited to evening drinks & snacks with the Minister and to provide feedback to him regarding the challenges faced by the sports manufacturing industry in the region, so that it could be used to formulate & tweak the national business strategy of UK.

Paul Scully made a note of the problem and assured that he would look into ways to remove the hurdles being faced.

CEO of Aramis Rugby, Vikas Mahajan brought to the notice of the Minister the lack of funds allocated to North Devon from the "levelling-up" national fund, which was exacerbating the labour shortages in the North Devon region with the skilled labour being lost to the "north" of the country. The MP for North Devon, Selaine Saxby confirmed that her region had not been allocated any funding. Vikas Mahajan requested that the Minister take the matter up with the Treasury and Paul Scully assured that he would be discussing the matter with other ministers at Westminster.

Overall, it was a fruitful meeting and ofcourse the Minister made sure he took a couple of the famed Aramis Rugby products with him back to Westminster!
