Aramis Rugby won the most awards at The North Devon Journal Business Awards at Highbullen Hotel Golf & Country Club in Chittlehamholt on Thursday, May 24.  Here are all the photos and reactions from the extravagant evening. 

Manufacturing Excellence Award 

Vikas Mahajan from Aramis Rugby said: “It was lovely to win this evening and it’s nice to know that coming from an Asian background it’s not only curries or takeaways, but North Devon is much more capable of producing world class manufacturing facilities and that’s why we do what we do.

“I think we have the best of both worlds, lovely countryside, lovely ambience, and support available if you actively look for it.

“Truly by winning this award it is truly possible to do anything in North Devon.”

Innovation Award

Roshni Mahajan, from Aramis Rugby said: “It’s lovely to have won, we didn’t expect it but we have put in a lot of hard work, a lot of tears, blood and sweat but it’s been worth it and shows that we’re doing something right.”

“We’re just going to continue and we have lots of plans. We want to do something innovative and different in the world of rugby machines. Machines have always been there really so we’re making digital machines connected with satellites and such. It’s a bit of an unopened oyster, a lifelong project and it’s impressed the judges. “
